Tourists who reach New Delhi should make a note that picks up from the railway station to guest hotel is optional and extra charges apply. There are two trains that leave from New Delhi one is Shatabdi which leaves at 6.00 am and the other is Gatiman which leaves at 8.00 am from Nizzamuddin.

Visit Taj Mahal:

Visit Agra Fort:

The next spot to be visited would be the Agra Fort which is positioned on the right side of river Yamuna. Akbar the great Mughal emperor designed and built the Agra Fort in 1565 AD. Being built of red sand stone, the fort has few awesome architectures within such as Moti Masjid, Pearl Mosque, Diwani-i-Am, Diwani-i-Khas, and Jahangiri Mahal.

The Red Fort would be open from morning till sunset and welcomes all visitors. November to February can be the best time to visit the Red Fort. There are no charges for children under twelve to enter the Red Fort and adults would be charged Rs. 5 as entry tickets. Being the UNESCO World Heritage Site, memorable snaps can be clicked to cover the architectural beauty of the fort.

Visit Fatehpur Sikri :

This spot is positioned at an easy distance from Agra and is also considered as World Heritage site and an important specimen of Mughal Dynasty. The building was built by the great Akbar which is a blend of Mughal and Persian architecture. The weather is pleasant and has sunny skies during the period from November to February and hence tourists can plan their trips during those periods.

Fatehpur Sikri has a number of mosques, palaces, halls and is been an architectural legacy of Emperor Akbar. The spot consists of BulandDarwaza, Panch Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, the tomb of Salim Chisti and more. Hence this is an important spot to be visited by the tourists.

Return to Delhi
